About Plus One Media

Plus One Media, founded in 1991 by Melissa Connor, is an outsource marketing communications firm that serves as the marketing and publishing partner for professional associations, academic institutions, and nonprofit organizations. Implementing your vision is our job. We make it happen from start to finish: you provide the content, and we do the rest—from layout and design, to copyediting, to communicating with your board members, to working with the printer, to mailing out the final product. We are your behind-the-scenes partner, making you look fantastic—on time, within budget, with pleasure.

The Plus One Media Team

Melissa Connor, President and Account Manager
A graduate of the University of Georgia, Melissa worked for several years in telecommunications marketing and product education for Sprint and MCI before founding Plus One Media. As president and account manager, Melissa oversees Plus One's projects from start to finish, working on layout and design, and communicating with clients, executive boards, writers, photographers, and printers.

Katie Ekwurtzel, Assistant Executive Director
Katie serves as Plus One's assistant director for nonprofit organizations. She assists these organizations in grant writing, fundraising, event planning, and administration.

Claudia Hafner, Web Designer/Developer and Webmaster
Claudia has been building wesites for over 10 years both in the corporate and entrepreneurial arenas. She is particular about building websites that not only look good but function as a marketing tool for clients.

Gayle Davies, Web Content and Email Marketing Coordinator
Gayle has worked closely with graphic designers, copywriters and web development teams. At Plus One, she develops email communications and keeps websites up-to-date.
